One of Technopolis 20 target is to give stage to young artists and to promote talents of the city. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that it hosts the young soloist Marianna Georgiou in a concert for solo piano.

A few words about Marianna Georgiou Marianna Georgiou is a pianist from Cyprus who has studied at the University of Nottingham for the past four years. Marianna took her first piano lessons at the age of five and for twelve years she was classically trained under the supervision of her Bulgarian tutor, Ivelina Ruseva. She attained her first Piano Diploma a year before attending university. During her BA (and MA), she had lessons with Brenda May and achieved a first class degree as well as receiving a music scholarship. She started her Master’s degree in September 2014 with ‘Performance studies’ being her main pathway and she graduated in September 2015. Marianna gave several concerts and took part in various competitions, festivals and master classes during her studies in the United Kingdom. She aspires to attain her LRSM diploma during the following year and go into further research regarding Performance studies.
