The Paphos Zingers choir is a multimode and multicultural group, mainly comprising of foreigners who are permanent residents of Pafos. The choir’s composition (consisting mainly of Travellers of the World) constitutes a triumph over diversity, reflects the course of the Others in the city and it is a memorandum of the welcoming temperament of the Pafian people. The latter are asked by the members of the choir to participate in a joyous celebration, since this very element of celebration, vitality and joy is the heart of the event.
The Zingers are thrilled to have been accepted to perform at this prestigious event, which form part of the Paphos European City of Culture 2017. Enjoy an hour and half of an eclectic mix of songs from around the world, performed by the Zingers in their finery. No ticket is required as this is part of the Pafos 2017 festival year, so come along and enjoy the fun at Chloraka Amphitheatre. There may be a little surprise guest appearance! Continue on road, it curves left going into the old village, you will see the co-op bank on your right hand side. The amphitheatre is at the back, just a little down the road. When you see a small church on your left, you have arrived.
